THERAPY BEGINS WITH FEELING SAFE ENOUGH TO be yourself.

a little about me

For over sixteen years, I’ve walked alongside individuals and couples through anxiety, grief, relationship strain, and the quiet struggles people carry long before they say them out loud.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a client-centered approach to therapy. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing, so I tailor our work together to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths. My role is to partner with you as we explore challenges, build insight, and create meaningful change.

While therapy offers a place to process and reflect, it is also a place for growth and action. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools and skills to help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience.

My clinical experience includes working within hospital systems and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. As a South Asian immigrant who has lived and traveled internationally, I bring a deep appreciation for cultural differences and diverse perspectives. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect.

I work with both individuals and couples and have a particular interest in supporting healthcare professionals and their families. As the spouse of a physician, I understand many of the unique pressures, responsibilities, and emotional demands that can come with working in healthcare and caring professions and with supporting someone who does.

Caring for others has always been part of who I am.

Inspired by my mother, I grew up volunteering at orphanages, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and caring for injured animals.

Those experiences shaped my belief in the healing power of feeling genuinely seen, long before I stepped into a therapy room.

Becoming a parent and learning that I have a neurodivergent brain helped me embrace parts of myself that had been quiet for most of my life. Creativity became a source of purpose and joy.

Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me woodworking, designing spaces, or tackling a DIY project, usually with my kids sketching ideas beside me.

I also love reading, being outdoors, staying active, and exploring new restaurants with my spouse around Charlotte.

EVERY PERSON deserves AN APPROACH THAT'S AS unique AS THEY ARE.

Rather than following a single method, I draw from several evidence-based approaches depending on your goals and experiences.
CBT
DBT
Gottman Method
Trauma-Informed
Client Centered
Therapy begins with your story, not my agenda. I take time to understand what brought you here and what matters most to you, then shape our work around your goals, your values, and the strengths you may not see in yourself yet.
Authentic
You'll notice from our very first session that I bring my whole self into the room. I believe genuine connection is where real healing starts, and when I show up honestly, it makes space for you to do the same, exactly as you are and without judgment.
Trauma informed
Trauma can leave lasting imprints on both the brain and body, often affecting the way we think, feel, and respond to everyday experiences. I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to help identify and process these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I integrate evidence-based techniques, including mindfulness, breathwork, distress tolerance, and other somatic and coping strategies, to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to yourself.
Strengths-based
Therapy isn't only about what's hard but also about what's already working. By recognizing both your challenges and your strengths, we create a more balanced perspective; one where you can form a fuller and more honest picture of who you are and what you're already capable of.
Direct, yet compassionate
My approach is honest and direct, with compassion. If I notice a pattern that may be keeping you stuck, I'll gently bring it into the conversation, because lasting change begins with awareness, and I won't shy away from the moments that matter most.
Tools, not just insight
Insight matters, but only if it leads somewhere. Before we focus on change, I take time to understand you as a whole person. Then, when you're ready, we draw on proven approaches like CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method to build practical tools that fit your life, so the change we create together actually sticks.
My Values

Every story deserves to be explored without judgment.

Compassion

Healing begins when people feel genuinely understood.

Collaboration

Therapy isn't something done to you—it's something we build together.

Practical Growth

Insight is important, but meaningful change happens when it becomes part of everyday life.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply reaching out.

If something here resonated with you, I’d be happy to connect for a brief conversation.

The first step is just a conversation. A free 15-minute consultation — no pressure, no commitment, just a chance to see if it’s the right fit.
